The renewal of this partnership is born from the strong relationship between Bureau Veritas and COFREX, built during Expo 2020 Dubai. Bureau Veritas provided certification services to COFREX related to the construction of the France Pavilion. It also contributed to the France Pavilion’s program of professional and general public events dedicated to Sustainability topics.

Bureau Veritas will once again assist COFREX via a skills-based sponsorship initiative at Expo 2025 Osaka. It will ensure that buildings and infrastructure comply with all applicable regulations, thereby guaranteeing their environmental quality as well as social and environmental responsibility. The Expo will be held from April 13 to October 13, 2025.

Hinda Gharbi, Deputy CEO of Bureau Veritas, said: “We’re delighted to put our unrivalled expertise at the service of the France Pavilion for this major event, and to reaffirm our global leadership in the Buildings and Infrastructure sector. The theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”, also resonates deeply with our mission: Shaping a World of Trust by ensuring responsible progress. Our teams are mobilized to apply their expertise while supporting the event’s goal and having a positive impact on people and the planet.”

Jacques Maire, COFREX Chair and France Pavilion General Commissioner, commented: “The entire France Pavilion team is very pleased to continue our fruitful collaboration with Bureau Veritas. Embodying French excellence is naturally at the core of the France Pavilion’s roadmap. We will be able to demonstrate this excellence thanks to outstanding and committed partners like Bureau Veritas.”
