Le Bistro
Le Bistro, operated by Maison Kayser, is a refined space where French tradition meets Japanese floral art, brought to life through a design of wood and gold.
A warm, honey-toned wood ambiance runs throughout the space—across tiled floors, wall paneling, and reflected in large, softly gold-tinted mirrors framed with moldings, a subtle nod to the classic decor of Parisian restaurants. Overhead, an array of suspended glass globes by Maison Pradier offers a contrasting touch and brings rhythm to the ceiling.
At the heart of the space lies a central stage built around the wine cellar. On either side, a pair of crest-shaped mirrors designed by José Lévy for Maison Dada engage in dialogue with the striking floral sculptures crafted by ikebana master Shuho Hananofu.
At the far end, the sommelier station pays tribute to the rich mosaic of French wine landscapes.
The tables and chairs, designed by Jean-Baptiste Fastrez, were selected through a competition organized by the France Pavilion and Tectona, in partnership with the Mobilier National and Villa Noailles. These original pieces blend modernity and artisanal craftsmanship, turning the bistrot into a truly unique social space—where French gastronomy meets Japanese aesthetic sensibility.
